In honor of the occasion, I'm going to have a contest. There will be two parts to the contest:

Part 1: Guess the number and gender distribution of the puppies.
Part 2: Guess the date(-s) that the puppies will be born.

You get only one guess for Part 1, one guess per day/3 guesses total for Part 2. In case of duplicate correct answers, first posted wins. If you're on my ignore list, I can't see your entries so they don't count. :lol:

A few key hints are present in the picture. Here are a couple of others:

- This is the third time we've bred Peri, who is six years old. The first two were repeat breedings to the same sire. We got one puppy the first time, no pregnancy the second time. This time we went to a different stud dog, and we WILL get different results.

- Deriving an educated guess to the second question will require a bit of research. The ultrasound was done on pretty much the optimal day to confirm pregnancy. Keep in mind that bitches usually whelp at night, and labor/delivery will go on for hours if it's a large litter. Happy Googling! :lol:
