A while back I came across some CAO seconds. I can't remember the site, I'll have to go through all my bookmarks to find it. Anyway, I had no idea that these were available and, if they're legit, they could be quite a buy! Anyone tried these? or even heard of them? :?: :?: TIA!

Thanks for the offer! :u: I'd be up for an order except I'm preparing for a move this whole week. I'm not sure what address I'd be at when they got here. Plus, I'm downright broke! :u:

By the way, they only sell them as singles, so you can order as many as you want.

Don't believe it. Old Tambor-made seconds? Sounds like a Don Douglas "dump" to me.

Really sounds suspect to me.

WOW - sounds like a good deal. Heck, I WORK for CAO and I'VE never had one of these. LOL

In all seriousness, this appears VERY suspect (to be polite). CAO never manufactured any "seconds" of our L'Anniversaire lines, including the production that came from Tabacalera Tambor, S.A. (Costa Rica).

The only seconds that ever came out of Tambor in Costa Rica were Tesoros with an orange band and Red Packs that were out about 2 yrs ago.

Oh-Oh.....
Looks like I may have a problem. I've e-mailed Jon with the circumstances of how I bought these cigars way back when. If these are not legit seconds of CAO Anniv. (and it looks like they're not) then my apology to all and upon confirmation from Jon I will fix the error on my web site.
I bought them from a well known seller(who I will not name but did tell Jon) who stated they were legit seconds. Maybe, even I get fooled sometimes. Sorry for any confusion.

FWIW, I have purchased from Mike before and would definately recommend him. Looks like this is the fault of a shady distributer or something...

Stick with the CAO L'Anniversaire and Brazilias and you'll never be disappointed. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. :D

The CAO Brazilia that I have left is defintely a lawn mowing smoke. Nothing there for me.

mannish, send them to me and I'll replace em with something else. Just tell me what you like.
That's an offer you can't refuse.

Good morning, all. I received Mike's e-mail and replied to him earlier.

Long story short: Mike is a solid guy who meant no harm and, unfortunately, got caught in the middle of a 'bad' deal. The cigars in question are not seconds of any C.A.O. L'Anniversaire product; nor were they made in Costa Rica. They are short-filler bundle cigars made in Nicaragua.

Having said that, perhaps these cigars are a decent value (for the prices Mike has on his site), however, they should not be confused or associated with ANY C.A.O. L'Anniversaire cigars.

Hope this clears things up. Later...

I only have on CAO Bras so I'll include in some kind of trade or ride the lawn mower with it. It'd probally be a good Lawn Mower cigar a break from the Villazon Lawn Mower cigars
